The world’s most northern capital fuses colourful buildings and intriguing design with interesting museums, a surprisingly eclectic restaurant and nightlife scene and a wonderfully inviting populous. The city, though tiny by international standards has plenty for the culturally curious to do, from exhibitions such as the Viking Longhouse and the National Museum, to galleries such as the National Gallery and the Reykjavik Art Museum to a great collection of cafes, restaurants and bars.
