Shopping is high on the agenda for many visitors to the UAE, and many of course head straight to the gigantic, luxurious malls of Dubai, but for a more local approach we suggest a trip to the souks. In Dubai, try the Deira district and its gold souk and the spice souk that are just a few minutes apart from each other, and in Abu Dhabi, head to the Fish Souk at Mina Zayed, which you’ll find next door to the marina.
