Walkers will adore the Congo Nile trail that stretches besides the crystal clear waters of Lake Kivu. The trail is an excellent entrance to Rwanda’s unspoiled wilderness, with vast views of the mountains and the waters of the lake. Alternatively you could opt to spend a few days simply exploring the beaches and coves found along the shores of Lake Kivu.
