We start this full day tour with a visit to the market at Pisac Town, where you can buy typical Peruvian handicrafts at the best prices. After lunch you will tour the remarkable Inca village and fortress of Ollantaytambo . A very steep stone staircase leads into the fortress. Across an esplanade there is a Temple with 10 niches, and beside it a block of partially unworked stones. Beyond another esplanade, stand six huge rectangular monoliths (weighing approximately 50 tons) from the Temple of the Sun. Vestiges of rooms are seen on top, and on the other side of the hill a four storey building can be seen, which was either a military school or a prison. During the afternoon we visit the town of Chinchero . This place lies on the foundations of animportant Inca site built in the late 1400s.

After breakfast we visit the impressive sites of Maras, a complex of exploitation of salt and Moray, an important centre of Inca agricultural research on crops. Moray is a huge series of circular terraces worked into the ground, they are natural sinkholes on a limestone plateau overlooking the Urubamba valley and local people refer to them as the greenhouse of the Incas. We then continue to the nearby age-old terrace salt mines and ponds that sit below the colonial town of Maras, this is simply an outstanding sight.

Start the day by rising early and enjoying a scenic train tide to the Peruvian town of Aguas Calientes. Transfer to a bus for a brief journey to the much-visited archaeological site of Machu Picchu.Built at the height of the Inca Empire, it is widely believed that this place was built to serve as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacutec. Learn about the historical background of this impressive site from your guide while you spend the morning walking around the ruins. After the tour you will have free time to explore the complex at your own pace. By 4pm it’s time to make the return journey back to the bright lights of Cusco. Hop on the train and ride back to the city, away from the magnetic heritage of mighty Machu Picchu.

Enjoy this amazing experience in the Lake Titicaca, including a visit to floating islands of the Uros and Taquile Island. The Islands of the Uros are located in the east of the city of Puno. These islands are made of ‘totora’ reeds, rising six metres above water level. They are anchored by logs and connected to each other by ropes. They still keep the ancient traditions and community living, with their activities being fishing and handicrafts. We continue to Taquile Island which has two characteristics:the spectacular views from its hills, and its standing as a first rate textile centre. The local people (Taquilenos) live on their textile activities. This is noticeable as the men, walking in their rubber sandals (‘ojotas’ in Quechua), still wear black trousers, white flannel shirts and beautiful, finely woven chumpis (belts), with their heads covered by finely knitted ‘chullos’ (caps with ear flaps). This is an ancient civilization that continues living the traditions and laws of the Incas.

Enjoy this half day tour to the Sillustani Towers, a magical place that will provide a profound energetic experience .This archaelogical area is located 34 km North of Puno city. We will visit the magical tombs called Chullpas, which are big burial monuments, built in tower forms by the Collas Indians. The Chullpas were built by the Aymara-speaking Collas, a tribe that dominated the Titicaca region before the Incas. Sillustani is located on a peninsula in the beautiful Umayo Lagoon and these constructions have a height of more than 12 meters each
